On July 13, several regions will experience extreme heat of 40-45 degrees Celsius, Kazhydromet reported. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Intense heat of 35-43°C is expected in West Kazakhstan, Atyrau, Aktobe, Kostanay, North Kazakhstan, Akmola, Pavlodar, Karaganda, East Kazakhstan, Almaty, Turkistan, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda regions, as well as Zhetysu and Abay regions.

In Mangystau, Ulytau regions, northern Zhetysu, southern Kostanay, southern Karaganda and Kyzylorda regions, and central Almaty region, temperatures are forecast to reach 40-45°C.

Due to atmospheric frontal systems, thunderstorms, rain, hail, and squalls are expected in the west, northwest, north, and southeast of the country.

Only in the south, east, and center of Kazakhstan is dry weather expected.

Winds will strengthen across the country, with dust storms in the south, and fog in the west and north at night and in the morning.
