Kazakhstan's grain and flour exports have exceeded 12 million tons. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, in the 2025/26 marketing year (July-June), Kazakhstan exported 12.5 million tons of grain and flour. This is 1.5 million tons more than the previous year. The main export destinations are Central Asian countries, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, and China.
Minister Aidarbek Saparov noted that this year's grain yield was high. "This year, more than 20 million tons of grain were harvested, which made it possible to increase export potential," he said.
Wheat accounts for 70% of Kazakhstan's grain exports. Flour exports reached 2.5 million tons. The country is among the top five largest flour exporters in the world.
The growth in exports was facilitated by favorable weather conditions and government support measures. The ministry plans to increase exports to 14 million tons next year.
