According to the forecast for 2026, Kazakhstan's coal exports will amount to 33.2 million tonnes. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
This figure represents 53.6% of the forecast for the current year.
The top three countries to which Kazakhstan exports the most coal are Russia (9 million tonnes), Poland (2.8 million tonnes), and Turkey (2 million tonnes).
In addition, countries such as Uzbekistan, Malaysia, the Netherlands, China, India, Kyrgyzstan, and Germany also import coal from Kazakhstan.
