Military equipment will be sent from Kazakhstan to military exercises held in Russia. In this regard, the Ministry of Defense urged citizens not to create panic and to rely only on official information. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Three CSTO exercises to be held
From September 24 to October 3, three exercises of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) – "Interaction – 2026", "Search – 2026" and "Echelon – 2026" – will be held on the territory of Russia.
"During the preparation and conduct of the exercises, that is, from September 21 to October 5, military equipment and personnel will be sent by rail from Kazakhstan to Russia's Misyash station and back," the ministry reported.
Field classes and drill training
During the exercises, field classes will be held, within which drill training, management of subunits and fulfillment of assigned tasks will be practiced.
The events are held in accordance with the approved plan for combat training of the CSTO member states.
Call to rely only on official sources
"We ask citizens, representatives of the media and social media users not to disseminate unverified information and to rely only on information published in official sources," the Ministry of Defense said.
It is worth noting that the exercises "Interaction – 2026", "Search – 2026" and "Echelon – 2026" are regularly held alternately on the territories of the CSTO member states.
