Travel bloggers visiting Kazakhstan are not paid from the budget. This was announced by Talgat Gazizov, Chairman of the Board of Kazakh Tourism JSC, at a briefing in the government, reports Sputnik Kazakhstan correspondent. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Earlier, foreign travel bloggers were invited several times to attract tourists to Kazakhstan. However, according to Gazizov, "Kazakh Tourism does not have a separate budget for working with bloggers. Posts of travel bloggers invited to Kazakhstan are not paid for, no separate funds are allocated for this."
The company works with bloggers on a "partnership exchange" model. Gazizov explained: "We have a pool of partners. It includes hotels, restaurants, tour operators, airlines. On one hand, they help the country, on the other, they advertise themselves through popular bloggers. We invite bloggers from markets of interest, such as the USA, Europe, and China. In such cases, some airlines agree to bring these bloggers for free on an exchange basis. That's how we work with everyone."
