Assets worth over 1.1 trillion tenge have been returned to Kazakhstan, mainly in cash, the government reported. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The returned assets are being used through the Special State Fund to address social issues.

"Today, financing of more than 500 projects with a total value exceeding 617.7 billion tenge has been approved in all regions of the country," the statement said.

The funds are used to develop social facilities and infrastructure in the regions, thereby improving the quality of life of the population.
