The Government for Citizens state corporation reminded Kazakhstanis that June 26, 2026 is one of the most "beautiful" dates this year for marriage registration. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the organization, couples planning a wedding on this day should submit their applications by June 11 inclusive.
"If you dream of saying 'YES' to each other on this very day, do not forget to submit your application in advance. For marriage registration, the application is submitted 15 calendar days before the chosen date, so it must be done on June 11, 2026," the corporation's statement said.
Earlier, Kursiv wrote that "beautiful" dates have always been popular among Kazakhstanis for marriage. A similar rush was observed last year — on May 25, 2025, couples massively registered their relationships.
This year, residents of Shymkent already stood out, causing a rush at registry offices due to the beautiful date February 26, 2026. Registry office employees in Shymkent accepted 51 applications in one day.
