Kazakhstan's junior triathlon team won a silver medal in the mixed relay at the European Cup stage in Izvorani, Romania. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The silver medalists with a time of 01:34:56 are Diana Yerzhanova, Alua Nurmukhamet, Alkham Murat, and Arseniy Shevchenko.
Romania won with a time of 01:34:31. Turkey took third place with 01:35:42.
Earlier, Diana Yerzhanova won gold in the individual event. She finished first with a time of 00:35:41.
Second was Tunde Krisan of Romania (00:35:48), and third was Alice Ventre of Italy (00:35:50).
Alua Nurmukhamet placed fifth (00:36:03), Kaleria Schneider sixth (00:36:07), and Aida Kim ninth (00:36:13).
Earlier, Kursiv reported that leader of Kazakhstan's women's wrestling team Zhamila Bakbergenova won silver at an international ranking tournament in Budapest.
