Friends and colleagues of Kazakh rapper Darkhan Zhumabek, known under the pseudonym Kislо-Sladky, are raising alarm on social media, saying the singer has gone missing in Thailand. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The possible disappearance of the artist was reported by music video director Parasat.top. According to him, the rapper was supposed to fly from Phuket to Bangkok in the morning. The clipmaker stated that the film crew was already preparing for work, but the artist never arrived at the appointed place and then stopped answering calls.
"All his phones are switched off. He said he might have gone to Malaysia. We rented a hotel here, rented equipment, waited for him," he said.
The director said he intends to contact the immigration police and, if necessary, go to the border to clarify the circumstances.
Later, he published a surveillance camera video showing a man who looks like Kislо-Sladky walking down the street, shouting, waving his arms, breaking into doors, and generally behaving inappropriately. According to the clipmaker, the rapper was last seen in Pattaya.
In his stories, he posted a wanted poster with Darkhan's special features and also shared the last video that Kislо-Sladky sent him.
"I don't understand half of what he says," the director admitted.
Meanwhile, messages from other people searching for the musician appeared on social media. One Threads user claimed that the rapper was last seen on the beach.
"According to relatives, he may have been under the influence of drugs. We ask everyone who is in Pattaya and has any information about his whereabouts to please report. We will be grateful for any help and distribution," the post said.
At the time of publication, no official information about the artist's whereabouts had been received. According to his Instagram page, the last stories were posted about 17 hours ago.
Earlier, Kursiv wrote about how Kislо-Sladky was punished after a concert with swearing in a half-naked state. The video spread on social media and attracted the attention of police.
