World-renowned esports player Danil "Molodoy" Golubenko has been named global ambassador of the International Year of Volunteers. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The year 2026 was declared the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development by the UN General Assembly at the initiative of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The esports player's involvement in this initiative will give a fresh impetus to promoting volunteer culture and values among the world's youth.
It is worth noting that in 2025, Danil Golubenko was awarded the title of best athlete in the CS2 version.
