Days of Kazakh Medicine have started in Kyrgyzstan. They are being held in the republic from September 15 to 18. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
During these days, Kazakh doctors are holding consultations, examinations, complex surgeries and master classes for local specialists.
First day of work
On the first day, 16 Kazakh specialists began receiving residents of the villages of Vasilyevka and Khun-Chi. For the examinations, the Almaty region sent three mobile medical complexes with modern equipment to Kyrgyzstan.
The programme includes an exchange of experience in cardiology, oncology, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics and traumatology.
Complex surgeries in Bishkek
Separately, as part of the visit, Kazakh surgeons performed a number of complex operations at the First City Clinical Hospital named after K. Ryskulova in Bishkek.
The doctors demonstrated technologies that allow interventions through small incisions. This approach is aimed at reducing the trauma of operations and speeding up patient recovery.
Master class at the oncology centre
Another platform for professional exchange was the National Centre of Oncology and Haematology in Bishkek. An international master class was held there titled "Modern Endoscopic Solutions in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Gastrointestinal Tract Formations".
Specialists from the two countries discussed the possibilities of modern endoscopic diagnostics and minimally invasive treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, including the use of new technologies.
Statement by the vice-minister
"Days of Kazakh Medicine are an opportunity to present the potential of our healthcare system through the concrete work of doctors. Such interaction strengthens professional ties and the traditionally close cooperation between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in the field of healthcare," said Manas Ramazanov, Vice-Minister of Health of Kazakhstan and head of the delegation.
Experience in Tajikistan
