At the Boxing World Cup in China, Kazakh athletes won 5 gold medals. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The last gold medal for the country was won by Aibek Oralbay. In the final of the weight category over 90 kg, the boxer defeated German representative Nikita Putilov. The victory was by unanimous decision of the judges with a score of 5:0.
Earlier at the World Cup stage, Sanjar Tashkenbay (up to 50 kg), Nazym Kyzaybay (up to 54 kg), Victoria Grafeva (up to 60 kg) and Abylaykhan Zhusipov (up to 70 kg) became champions.
Aida Abikeyeva, Valeria Aksenova and Dina Islambekova finished the competition with bronze medals.
