Kazakhstani citizen Adiya Almabek died in the city of Antalya, Turkey. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
She died in a traffic accident on June 15. The Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Antalya assisted with document processing. All necessary consular and legal assistance was provided, including interaction with local authorities and organizing the repatriation of the body, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The body of the deceased was delivered to Kazakhstan on June 17. Financial support for the repatriation was provided by the employer and partner organizations. The issue is under the control of the Consulate General.
According to media reports, the Kazakhstani woman was undergoing an internship in Turkey and worked at one of the hotels.
