Kazakh military personnel serving in the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF), together with medical staff of the UN mission's field hospital and healthcare specialists of the Syrian Arab Republic, conducted a humanitarian medical campaign. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
As part of the campaign, doctors provided outpatient consultations to residents of Khan Arnabah in Al-Quneitra province. Following medical examinations, residents received first aid and recommendations for further treatment. Special attention was given to children, the elderly, and individuals requiring constant medical monitoring and support.
Thanks to the joint efforts of Kazakh peacekeepers, medical staff of the UN mission's field hospital, and Syrian specialists, residents received timely and qualified medical care. Residents of Khan Arnabah expressed gratitude to the Kazakh peacekeepers and medical workers for their professionalism, care, and compassion, the statement said.
Such humanitarian activities strengthen ties between peacekeepers and the local population and help increase trust in the UN mission's activities.
