Nazym Kyzaybai (54 kg) secured a spot in the final by defeating Thailand's Natnicha Chongprongklang via split decision (3:2). In the gold medal bout, she will face two-time world championship medalist Sirine Charaabi of Italy.

Victoria Grafeeva (60 kg) defeated Uzbekistan's Sitora Turdibekova with a score of 4:1. In the final, our athlete will face 2024 Olympic champion Lin Yu-ting from Chinese Taipei.

Sanzhar Tashkenbay (50 kg) left no chance for Spain's Martin Molina Salvador. His opponent in the decisive match will be IBA 2025 World Championship bronze medalist Asilbek Jalilov of Uzbekistan.

Abylaykhan Zhusupov (70 kg) defeated 2025 world championship bronze medalist Zeyad Ishaish of Jordan by unanimous decision. He will next face Indian boxer Deepak D.

Aibek Oralbai (+90 kg) defeated Brazil's Joel Ramos via split decision (3:2). In the final, his opponent will be Germany's Nikita Putilov.

Bronze medalists of the World Cup stage in China are Aida Abikeyeva (65 kg), Valeriya Aksenova (80 kg), and Dina Islambekova (+80 kg). In the semifinals, Abikeyeva lost to two-time Olympic medalist and two-time world champion Beatriz Ferreira of Brazil, Aksenova lost to 2022 World Championship bronze medalist Davina Michel of France, and Islambekova was defeated by Uzbekistan's Oltina Sotimboyeva.

The second stage of the World Boxing-2026 World Cup is taking place in Guiyang, China, from June 15 to 21, with 333 athletes from 44 countries participating. A total of 20 sets of medals (ten each for men and women) will be awarded. Kazakhstan's team is represented by 17 athletes.
