Representatives of major car manufacturing companies in Kazakhstan have named the cheapest cars. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Astana Motors offers the cheapest Chinese model. "Prices for the Cherry Tiggo 2 model, produced in Almaty, start from 6 million tenge. And most other Chinese cars cost around 8-9 million tenge," said the company's general director Beknur Nesipbayev at a government briefing.
At SaryarkaAvtoprom, the cheapest car can be bought for 5.6 million tenge. "For example, the price of the Chevrolet Cobalt produced in Kostanay starts from 5 million 600 thousand. And prices for Chinese brands are 8.5-9 million tenge. In general, prices depend on the car's configuration," says deputy director Azhil Shaikemelov.
