Kazakhstan has started accepting documents for higher educational institutions from June 20. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, applicants who do not plan to participate in the competition for state educational grants can submit documents for paid education starting June 20.

For applicants for state grants, applications for participation in the grant competition will be accepted from July 13 to July 20. During this period, applicants can choose educational programs and universities.

Applications for the grant competition are accepted through the admission committees of any university, regardless of the chosen institution. It is also possible to submit applications online through virtual admission committees and the eGov portal.

The minimum threshold scores remain unchanged: - National universities – 65 points - Other universities – 50 points - "Pedagogical Sciences" – 75 points - "Healthcare" – 70 points - "Law" – 75 points

Additionally, applicants must score at least 5 points in "History of Kazakhstan" and two specialized subjects (or a creative exam), and at least 3 points in "Reading Literacy" and "Mathematical Literacy."

Universities can set their own threshold scores for groups of educational programs. The list of state grant recipients will be published by August 10.

Applicants can contact university admission committees regarding the procedure for creative and special exams, features of educational programs, study conditions, dormitory availability, and other issues. Document acceptance continues until August 25.
