Passenger turnover in Kazakhstan increased by 4.1%

Freight and passenger transportation increased in the EAEU, according to statistical data. In January–May 2026 (compared to the previous year), the total passenger turnover in the EAEU increased by 0.8%. Additionally, growth was observed in several national indicators: Belarus – 7.8%; Armenia – 6.1%; Kazakhstan – 4.1%; Kyrgyzstan – 3.9%. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

During the reporting period, freight transportation increased in Armenia (12.6%), Kyrgyzstan (3.4%), and Belarus (1.1%).
