Kazakhstan has presented a digital employment service that identifies unemployed citizens and offers them vacancies. It was shown to Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov at the "Yenbek – el muraty" event ahead of Labor Day. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The pilot in Pavlodar and Mangystau regions covered more than 59,000 people. From November, the platform will begin to be introduced in other regions, the Ministry of Labor said.
The service uses data and artificial intelligence tools to accompany a person from job search to employment. It is designed, among others, for citizens who are not registered as unemployed, have been on the register for a long time, or are neither studying nor working. For each participant, the system creates an individual plan.
Vacancies are selected based on the person's profile. The service can offer work in their region or another area, at a large enterprise, or within a relocation program.
According to the Ministry of Labor, since the beginning of the year, more than 475,000 Kazakhstanis have been provided with jobs. The government is developing a new employment program with a focus on training specialists for production needs and developing digital skills.
At the end of the event, Bektenov, on behalf of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, presented state awards to representatives of workers and other professions ahead of Labor Day in Kazakhstan.
