The Bureau of National Statistics has shared data on how many people over the age of 60 live in the country. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

"At the beginning of 2026, the population over the age of 60 in Kazakhstan amounted to 2,923,472 people," statistics specialists say. This is 14.2% of the country's population.
