A Veterinary Chamber will be established in Kazakhstan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The constituent assembly approved a bill on amendments and additions to veterinary issues. The document provides for the creation of a separate Veterinary Chamber in Kazakhstan.

Membership in the chamber will be voluntary, and its funding source will be contributions from members.

"The chamber protects the rights and professional interests of veterinarians, keeps their records, and also promotes professional development," the constituent assembly noted.

In addition, a pharmaceutical inspection for control over the circulation of veterinary drugs is being created in the republic.

Furthermore, requirements are being established for compliance with deadlines for notification of the sale and slaughter of animals, and the loss or damage of their identification means.

A procedure is also being introduced for separate keeping of animals after the end of quarantine and for closing veterinary documents after controlled objects reach their destination.
