The second stage of the CSTO "Shep-2026" exercises has begun in Kazakhstan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Servicemen are practicing repelling attacks on checkpoints and settlements, as well as eliminating illegal armed groups.
During the exercises, special attention is being paid to countering drones. For this, mobile firing groups, electronic warfare (EW) means and air defense systems are being used.
The military is also searching for weapons caches and carrying out work to neutralize explosive devices.
