Kazakh authorities are studying foreign experience to modernize the vehicle inspection system. To this end, representatives of the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Finance, and KazdorNII visited Spain to learn about modern transport inspection technologies. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
During the trip, specialists visited the technical inspection center of DEKRA. There, they were shown modern diagnostic methods, automated control systems, and digital solutions that make the procedure more transparent.
In addition, KazdorNII signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Spanish company RYME Worldwide, which produces equipment for inspection stations.
Following the visit, the Ministry of Transport stated that they are studying the possibility of introducing new technologies in Kazakhstan. This includes systems for automatic data transmission from diagnostic equipment without operator involvement. The introduction of round-the-clock video monitoring of inspection stations is also being considered.
The ministry believes that digital solutions will help strengthen control over inspections, reduce the influence of the human factor, and improve the quality of vehicle checks. Ultimately, this should have a positive impact on road safety.
Earlier, Kursiv Avto reported that Kazakhstan will digitize freight transportation over 3.5 tons.
