In Kazakhstan, the Republic Day and Bereke Fest promotions begin on October 17. Until October 27, stores and shopping centers will offer discounts from 10% to 50% on selected categories of goods, the Ministry of Trade and Integration reported. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
Major shopping centers in Astana and Almaty
In Astana, MEGA Silk Way and Khan Shatyr will join the Republic Day promotions. In Almaty, MEGA Alma-Ata, MEGA Park, and Forum Almaty will participate, while in Shymkent, Mega Planet and Shymkent Plaza will take part.
Bereke Fest chains
The Bereke Fest promotion will be held in chains including Magnum, SMALL, Astykzhan, and GraMad. They promise to lower prices on both food and non-food products. The ministry's statement does not list specific goods or the size of discounts on them.
Regional sales
Sales have also been announced in other regions. Lists of participating stores will be posted on local akimat websites.
Although the promotions start on October 17, most offers are expected from October 21 to 27.
"It is precisely for these days that the main part of promotional programs, special price offers, and holiday sales will fall," the Ministry of Trade said.
Which stores are participating in the sales can be found on the websites of the akimats of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, and other regions.
The promotions were organized by the Ministry of Trade and akimats for Republic Day, which is celebrated on October 25. The ministry hopes to support sales in this way, including products from Kazakh manufacturers.
