In June 2026, prices in the construction sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan continued their upward trend. According to the Bureau of National Statistics, the overall price index in construction for the first month of summer was 101.2% relative to May. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The price index for construction and installation works rose by 1.3% in June compared to May. In the medium term, inflationary pressure looks even more pronounced: compared to December 2025, construction prices increased by 8.1%, and year-on-year (to June 2025) the indicator rose by 9.2%.

The largest monthly increase among construction materials was shown by petroleum products (up 6.4%) and gravel, sand, and clays (up 3.6%). Prices for concrete products rose by 3.5%.

According to statistics, in June 2026, general-purpose Portland cement M400 cost 53,692 tenge per ton. Natural sand for construction work — 10,554 tenge per cubic meter. Crushed stone from natural stone grade M1000 (fraction 10 to 20 mm) — 9,648 tenge per cubic meter. Road petroleum bitumen (grade BND-70/100) — 209,366 tenge per ton.

A month earlier, in May 2026, industry publications had already recorded a continuous rise in prices in the construction sector.

Recall that secondary housing prices in May fell slightly in both Almaty and Astana. At the same time, the cost of new buildings in both major cities stabilized and did not change significantly.
