According to the Bureau of National Statistics, as of August this year, 10 citizens are registered with the names "Quryltai", "Kuryltai", "Kurultai" and "Kurtai". Of these, 6 are men and 4 are women.
The bureau reported that the largest number of citizens with the name Quryltai and its variants is registered in the East Kazakhstan region – 4 people. In the Abai, Zhambyl, Karaganda and Mangystau regions, one person each is registered.
Also, five of the 10 people are over 65 years old. The remaining four belong to the age groups 30-34, 50-54, 55-59 and 60-64 years.
