In Kazakhstan, over the first four days of the preventive campaign "Safe House," police checked more than 46,000 residential properties and over 35,000 people on preventive registers. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

Nearly 4,000 people living without registration and 3,000 various violations were identified, according to Polisia.kz.

Goals and progress of the campaign

According to Baglanbek Aitpayev, deputy chairman of the Administrative Police Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the campaign is aimed at preventing offenses, ensuring public safety and protecting children.

About 800 teenagers needed assistance, and 127 of them were placed in adaptation centers. In Pavlodar Region, police found four minor children left without supervision.

"In such cases we do not seek to punish. Our task is to protect the child," Aitpayev noted.

Firearm owners checks and meetings with citizens

Police officers also checked more than 11,000 firearm owners and seized 20 units of unregistered weapons.

Over four days, about 2,000 meetings with citizens were held and nearly 580 appeals were received. According to Aitpayev, each of them will be reviewed.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs urged citizens to report offenses and children left without supervision by calling 102. The "Safe House" campaign continues.
