Processed milk production in Kazakhstan reaches 441,300 tonnes

In January-August 2026, Kazakhstan produced 441,300 tonnes of processed milk. This is 0.2% more compared to the same period in 2025 (440,500 tonnes). This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Regional indicators

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the highest production volumes during this period were recorded in North Kazakhstan (120,800 tonnes), Akmola (96,200 tonnes), Almaty (64,700 tonnes) and Kostanay (43,000 tonnes) regions.

Results of 2025

According to statistics specialists, by the results of 2025, the country produced 671,000 tonnes of processed milk. This is 6.2% more compared to 2024.

Export indicators

"In January-July 2026, exports of processed milk amounted to 2,900 tonnes, which is 3.0% higher compared to the same period in 2025 (2,800 tonnes)," the National Bureau of Statistics reports.

The main export destinations were Russia (2,240 tonnes), Uzbekistan (307.9 tonnes) and Tajikistan (194.0 tonnes).
