Kazakhstan continues to hold agricultural fairs "Dala Dami", where products are sold. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The fairs started on September 19 and are held on weekends in all regions of the country. According to the ministry, over the first three weeks, more than 13 thousand tons of products were sold there. Trading is planned year-round. As stated by the ministry, products from the fairs are 20% cheaper than the market.

Lower prices are explained by direct supplies from domestic farmers and a reduction in the number of intermediaries.

This week, 3.5 thousand tons of food were brought to the fairs. The main part consists of vegetables and melons — 1.7 thousand tons. Buyers are also offered 785 tons of meat and meat products, 285 tons of dairy products, as well as poultry, fish, fruits and other goods.

For example, this weekend in Astana one can buy products from Turkistan and West Kazakhstan regions. More than 600 tons of agricultural goods were delivered to the capital.

"Turkistan region will present 60 tons of meat and meat products, 260 tons of vegetables and fruits, more than 60 tons of milk and dairy products. About 50 tons of meat, 80 thousand eggs, 11 tons of fish and other food products were brought from West Kazakhstan region," the Ministry of Trade specified.

Recall that in April 2026, the akimat presented a plan according to which all weekend fairs in Almaty will become full-fledged bazaars.

Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle visited one of the fairs and found out how profitable it is to shop there.
