Kazakhstan and India have launched joint training of digital forensics specialists under a dual-degree program. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
For the first time in the system of law enforcement agencies of the country, a dual-degree educational program in digital forensics has been launched at the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan.
Under the program, 20 master's students of the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan will study digital forensics, cybersecurity, forensic examination, and modern methods of crime investigation, the ministry reported.
NFSU is a specialized university in India that trains specialists and conducts research in forensic science, criminology, digital forensics, and cybersecurity.
The cooperation will allow Kazakhstani specialists to gain international experience and modern practical knowledge necessary for investigating crimes in the digital environment.
Upon completion of the training, graduates will receive diplomas from both universities.
