Kazakhstan has changed the procedure for attaching to polyclinics. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Previously, it was possible to register with another polyclinic only between September 1 and November 1. This year, it was decided to remove the deadline.
According to the order of the Ministry of Health, now such an opportunity can be used at any time, but only once a year.
"The order provides for the abolition of the annual attachment campaign. At the same time, the right to freely choose a medical organization and the possibility of changing a polyclinic when moving or at the patient's request are preserved. The proposed measures are aimed at increasing the accessibility of medical care, simplifying the attachment procedure and improving the quality of services to the population," experts say.
Thus, within one year, you can change your polyclinic only once. But the medical institution must be located close to home. The polyclinic must serve exactly the area where the patient lives. Also, a state or private polyclinic must have a contract with the Social Health Insurance Fund.
As for the practice of attaching to a polyclinic under voluntary health insurance contracts, it was decided to cancel it. In this case, medical services will be provided on the basis of a contract with a medical organization chosen by the patient.
