According to forecasters, rain with thunderstorms will occur over most of the country. Heavy downpours are expected in the west, northwest, east, and mountainous areas of the southeast. In these same regions, hail and squally winds are possible in places. Fog is forecast for the north of Kazakhstan at night and in the morning.

In Astana, on July 8, rain, thunderstorms, squalls, and gusts of northeast wind up to 15–18 meters per second are expected.

In Almaty region, Zhetysu, Atyrau, Mangystau, Akmola, Pavlodar, Kostanay, Aktobe, West Kazakhstan, and North Kazakhstan regions, rain with thunderstorms will occur in places, and hail and squalls are possible in some areas.
