President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed a decree "On measures to stimulate and develop the digital asset industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan." This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The document is aimed at developing the digital asset market in the country. It provides for measures that should accelerate the development of the industry, attract investment, and create conditions for the introduction of new digital technologies.

Earlier, the president approved the National Strategy for large-scale digitalization and total implementation of artificial intelligence technologies Digital Qazaqstan until 2029.

At the final joint session of the Parliament chambers, Tokayev stated that digital transformation in Kazakhstan should affect everyone: from top managers to civil servants to rural akims.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that Kazakhstan plans to create a large-scale world-class artificial intelligence cluster. On the sidelines of the meeting of the Foreign Investors Council under the President, a trilateral memorandum of understanding was signed between the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development, the international corporation Citi, and Freedom Holding Corp.
