In the new working week, Kazakhstan's weather will remain unstable. Some regions will see thunderstorms, heavy downpours and hail, while in others thermometers will rise to +41°C. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to Kazhydromet, the unstable weather will be caused by the passage of atmospheric fronts. On July 7 and 8, rain with thunderstorms is expected in the north and center of the country. Precipitation is also forecast in the west, east and southeast of Kazakhstan.
On July 7, heavy rain will occur in the central and eastern regions, on July 8 — in the west and mountainous areas of the southeast. On July 9, heavy downpours will persist in the west of the country. Squally winds and hail are expected in some places.
Meteorologists also warn of strengthening winds in the western, southern and eastern regions.
Despite the precipitation, air temperatures will continue to rise. In the northwest and center of Kazakhstan, intense heat up to +35 and +39°C is expected, and in some places up to +41°C. In the north, the air will warm up to +35 and +38°C.
"No significant changes in the temperature background are expected in the rest of the territory," the specialists concluded.
Earlier, meteorologists warned of air pollution in nine cities of Kazakhstan. Residents were advised to reduce time spent outdoors, especially near highways and other sources of pollution.
