Unstable weather with rain, thunderstorms, hail, and gusty winds is forecast for Kazakhstan on July 5. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

According to weather forecasters, heavy rain is expected in the north, east, southeast, and center of the country. No precipitation is expected in the southwest.

"There will be rain with thunderstorms, possible hail and gusty winds; in the north, east, southeast, and center — heavy rain; in the southwest — no precipitation. Winds are expected to strengthen across the republic; fog is expected in the northwest, east, and southeast at night and in the morning," Kazhydromet reported.

In the area of Lake Alakol in the Zhetysu region, very strong winds are expected — occasionally 30 m/s or more.

In the Mangystau, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan regions, as well as in the southwest of the Aktobe region, extreme heat of +35…+39°C is forecast during the day.

High fire danger is expected in the Turkistan region, western Atyrau region, western and southern Pavlodar region, northern Karaganda region, southern and eastern East Kazakhstan region, eastern Kyzylorda region, western and northern Zhambyl region, and central Ulytau region.

Extreme fire danger is forecast in the north, south, and east of the Zhetysu region; west, north, and southeast of the Abai region; central Kyzylorda region; west and north of the Turkistan region; northeast of the Zhambyl region; south of the Atyrau region; Ulytau region; north of the Almaty region; east of the Akmola region; southeast of the Pavlodar region; west of the Karaganda region; and northwest and center of the East Kazakhstan region.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that on July 4, storm warnings were issued across Kazakhstan. In Almaty, the Almaty region, and the Zhetysu region, the threat of mudflows remained due to the forecast of very heavy rain.
