This year, Kazakhstan has signed investment agreements worth 4.4 trillion tenge across various sectors. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to the government, investments in fixed capital increased to 23.5 trillion tenge. Between 2019 and 2025, their volume grew 1.9 times.

Investments in the manufacturing industry tripled, reaching 3 trillion tenge. Their share in total investments amounted to 12.7%.

Additionally, 173 billion tenge will be invested in new pharmaceutical production facilities. In January 2026, agreements on four new projects were approved. They provide for the localization of production of 356 drug names and the expansion of domestic production of sought-after medicines, the statement said.

The inflow of direct foreign investments reached 20.5 billion US dollars. In 2025, this figure increased by 14.4%.

Capital is increasingly directed to non-commodity sectors – manufacturing, financial sector, and communications.
