Some 5 trillion tenge has been allocated from the National Fund for the implementation of 347 strategic projects. This was stated by Deputy Finance Minister Abzal Beisenbekuly. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
How the investments will be distributed
The 5 trillion tenge will be spent over the next three years. Of this, 4.4 trillion tenge will be directed to four main areas – transport and logistics, the social sector, energy and water resources.
"These are projects needed by the country – perinatal centers and regional hospitals, heating and gas networks, highways and water infrastructure. The importance of these investments is not limited to infrastructure development. They deliver direct socio-economic results," Beisenbekuly said at a meeting of the Kurultai.
31,000 jobs to be created
According to him, as a result of implementing all the projects, about 31,000 jobs will be created. Of these, 25,000 will be permanent jobs.
"In addition, about 3.7 trillion tenge in taxes will flow into the budget," the deputy minister said.

It is worth noting that Tokayev had previously said it was necessary to turn Kazakhstan into a large construction site.
