Briefly about the pension system
In Kazakhstan, pension payments are made from the state budget and pension funds. The number of pensioners in the country is growing every year, and the number of citizens over 100, which has reached 300, is one indicator of increasing life expectancy.
According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, residents of the Ulytau, Pavlodar and Kostanay regions lead among the oldest pensioners. Perhaps the traditions of longevity and environmental conditions in these regions play a role, but the ministry did not explain the exact reasons.
