On July 29, most of Kazakhstan will maintain unstable weather. According to Kazhydromet, the country will be covered by rain with thunderstorms, hail is possible in places, and in a number of regions the air temperature will rise to +44 degrees. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

Due to the passage of atmospheric fronts, rain with thunderstorms is expected almost throughout the country. The exception will be the south of Kazakhstan, where dry weather will persist. Wind strengthening is forecast across the republic, and dust storms will rise in places in the southwest and south.

The most intense heat is expected in Mangystau region — up to +43…+44 degrees. In Atyrau, Aktobe and the south of Kostanay region, the air will warm up to +40…+43 degrees.

Up to +40…+42 degrees is expected in Kyzylorda and Turkestan regions. In West Kazakhstan, Kostanay, Almaty, Akmola, Karaganda, North Kazakhstan regions, as well as in Ulytau and Zhetysu regions, thermometers will rise to +35…+38 degrees.

Forecasters also warn of high and extreme fire danger in several regions of the country. The most difficult situation is expected in Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, Atyrau, Turkestan regions, as well as in certain areas of Zhetysu, Karaganda, Almaty, East Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, Aktobe, Mangystau, Kostanay, Akmola, West Kazakhstan regions, Abay region and Ulytau region.

In the north, east and west of Aktobe, West Kazakhstan, North Kazakhstan, Akmola, East Kazakhstan and Abay regions, thunderstorms, hail, squalls and strong winds with gusts up to 20–25 m/s are forecast.

In the mountainous areas of Zhetysu and Almaty region, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected, and in East Kazakhstan region, heavy rain will occur in places.

Dust storms are forecast in Mangystau and Turkestan regions.

In Pavlodar, Karaganda, Atyrau and a number of other regions, short-term rain, thunderstorms and strengthening winds are also expected.

Storm warnings have been issued in almost all regions of the country. Residents are urged to take into account the weather forecast, observe fire safety measures and be careful during strong winds, thunderstorms and extreme heat.
