Meteorologists have issued storm warnings for several regions. In addition to heat, high and extreme fire danger persists in some areas.

Hottest region: Kyzylorda Oblast

The highest temperatures are expected in Kyzylorda Oblast. During the day, the air will warm up to +40…+41 degrees. In Kyzylorda city, up to +40 degrees is forecast. Extreme fire danger remains across the region.

Southern regions

During the day, intense heat up to +38…+40 degrees is expected. In mountainous areas, brief rains with thunderstorms will occur. Wind will strengthen to 15–20 m/s.

In Taraz, extreme fire danger persists. Daytime temperatures will be +35…+39 degrees. In the south of the region, light rain and thunderstorms are possible; in mountainous areas, brief rain with thunderstorms. In the east, wind gusts will reach 15–20 m/s.

In Almaty, +35…+37 degrees is expected, in Konayev — +37…+39 degrees. In the mountains of Ile Alatau, brief rains and thunderstorms are possible during the day.

Northern and eastern regions

In the north, east and center of the region, rain and thunderstorms are expected; during the day, hail and squalls are possible. Gusts of northern and northwestern wind will reach 15–20 m/s. In the south and east of the region, the air will warm up to +35…+36 degrees.
