Starting July 11, a section of the Taldykorgan–Oskemen highway will become toll. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The road length is 772.955 km, and the toll period is 20 years. One-way toll tariffs range from 117 to 25,292 tenge depending on vehicle type. Monthly and annual travel passes are also available.
Kazakhstan has 26 toll sections with a total length of 4,883 km. The first toll section was opened in 2013 on the Astana–Shchuchinsk highway.
