Future journalists from Kazakhstan and other countries will participate in a Russian contest. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Young journalists from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan will take part in an international journalism contest to be held in Russia. The participants' works cover topics of social issues, economics, culture, and sports. Winners of the contest will have the opportunity to undergo internships at leading media companies in Russia.

The contest is organized by the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation and the international news agency Rossiya Segodnya. Applications for the contest are accepted until July 1, 2026. Terms and conditions of participation are published on the official website of the contest.

The results of the contest will be announced in September 2026. Winners will be awarded diplomas and valuable prizes.
