Kazakhstan has approved a new composition of the government. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The deputy prime ministers have not changed. But there are three new people in the ministerial composition.
They are Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Alibek Kuantyrov, Minister of Culture and Information Arman Kyrykbaev, and Minister of Emergency Situations Mukhtar Mukhanov. Among them, Alibek Sakenuly previously served as Minister of National Economy for about a year.
Now he has been appointed to a new position – Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources. It should be noted that according to the Constitution, the candidacy of the Prime Minister is proposed by the President.
Then the ministers of defense, foreign affairs, and internal affairs are appointed by the President himself. And the candidacies of other government members are proposed by the Prime Minister.
