A meeting of the Council on Youth Affairs of the CIS member states was held in Kapan, Armenia. The delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan participated. The event was organized within the framework of the international project "CIS Youth Capital". This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, representatives of the participating states discussed priority areas for developing youth policy, expanding international cooperation, supporting youth initiatives, developing the volunteer movement, and implementing joint projects. The Kazakh side expressed its readiness to further strengthen multilateral partnership in the field of youth policy, according to the Ministry of Culture and Information.
The Kazakh delegation also participated in the forum of youth public organizations of the CIS member states and a panel discussion of Council members. The meetings discussed ways to further develop cooperation between youth organizations of the CIS countries. Following the meeting, the chairmanship of the Council on Youth Affairs of the CIS member states passed to Kazakhstan, the ministry said.
