Kazakhstan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has set out the country's position regarding attacks on civilian infrastructure facilities in Saudi Arabia. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The ministry strongly condemned attacks by Houthi forces on civilian infrastructure facilities in Saudi Arabia that resulted in loss of life.

"Such attacks cannot be allowed from a humanitarian standpoint. They violate norms of international law. These actions undermine efforts to stabilize the situation in Yemen and hinder a political settlement of the conflict," the statement reads.
The ministry called for an immediate halt to the attacks and for the crisis to be resolved exclusively through political and diplomatic means.
Solidarity with Saudi Arabia
Kazakhstan expresses solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and confirms that it has the right to protect its sovereignty and security in accordance with the UN Charter, the ministry said.
