Kazakhstan has proposed building a grain terminal in Russia, the Ministry of Agriculture reported. The participation of Kazakhstan's national company Food Contract Corporation is expected. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The cooperation proposals also include projects for processing agricultural products and building new greenhouses. According to Saken Kanybekov, Chairman of the State Inspection Committee in the Agro-Industrial Complex, Kazakhstan has achieved high results in the last two years: grain harvest remained at 26 million tons, and the total harvest of oilseeds reached 4.9 million tons. In his speech, Saken Kanybekov focused on the development of joint breeding and seed production.

He reported that scientific organizations of the EAEU countries plan to sign a memorandum on cooperation in the field of sugar beet cultivation and seed production. "The implementation of joint projects, the formation of a unified register of varieties of agricultural plants, and the improvement of mechanisms for financial support of cooperative initiatives will help reduce barriers in the common agricultural market, increase the competitiveness of agricultural products, and strengthen food security in the Union states," the Ministry of Agriculture reported.

The participation of the Kazakh delegation in the international exhibition confirmed Kazakhstan's commitment to further strengthening scientific, technological, and industrial cooperation within the EAEU.
