Kazakhstan has been leading in vegetable oil supplies to Uzbekistan for the second consecutive year. This was announced by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to the ministry, in 2025 Kazakhstan supplied 120,000 tons of vegetable oil to Uzbekistan. This figure is 15% higher than in 2024. The main types of vegetable oil are sunflower oil and soybean oil. Kazakh vegetable oil is in high demand in the Uzbek market due to its quality and competitive price. The ministry expects this trend to continue in 2026. Kazakhstan plans to increase production volumes to maintain its leadership in vegetable oil supplies to Uzbekistan.
