In July and August 2026, Kazakhstan does not plan to export oil to Germany. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy in response to a request from Sputnik Kazakhstan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The Ministry noted that oil transportation to Germany via the Atyrau-Samara-Druzhba pipeline is currently suspended due to technical infrastructure limitations on the transit side.

On July 13, Poland's UNIMOT company announced that its subsidiary would deliver a batch of South American oil to the Schwedt refinery in Germany. The oil has already been delivered to Gdansk.
