Experts of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies (KISI) under the President of Kazakhstan and Russian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Alexey Borodavkin discussed the development of relations between Kazakhstan and Russia. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the Russian ambassador expressed his views on the current state and prospects for allied relations and comprehensive strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Russia, as well as changes in the regional and global situation, according to the Russian embassy's statement.
KISI Director Zhandos Shaymardanov noted the high level of relations between Kazakhstan and Russia.
The "Ambassador's Hour" format is traditionally held at KISI to develop direct professional dialogue between heads of diplomatic missions and institute experts.
Such meetings allow for an exchange of views on topical issues of bilateral cooperation and the international agenda.
