Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tileuberdi received the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Alexey Borodavkin. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and development prospects of Kazakhstan-Russia bilateral cooperation.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting also discussed the implementation of agreements reached at the highest and high levels, as well as the schedule of upcoming mutual visits and joint events.

The parties discussed topical issues on the regional and international agenda and exchanged views on interaction within multilateral formats, the ministry said.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their intention to further strengthen comprehensive strategic partnership and allied relations between Kazakhstan and Russia.
